After three hours, Joan was stretched naked on the bed when she said, “I wonder if Alice will have triplets or more. By Wednesday night, Alice went to bed upset and crying. She accepted a glass of wine. “Sure, bud,” I said, “Just be ready for any flying dishes or pans. I will be sure all your belongings will be waiting for you on the front lawn in the morning.”
